Beautiful hiking in nature but an unpleasant stay due to a bad odour and flies. Beautiful nature ideal for hiking and camping. Breathtaking scenery, away from society, lovely hospitality and farm life. Windhoek Gasteplaas is beautifully situated at the foot of Sleeping Beauty on a farm with the greenest willow fields. Children enjoyed the fishing dam right in front of our place, lovely walking trails to a waterfall and also down into a gorge through indigenous veld. Canoeing on another larger dam next to one of the 2 campsites.
