Description
Windmeul Huis is a charming self-catering cottage located on the host’s property in Jacobs Bay, Western Cape. The property is situated within close proximity to the rocky shoreline and border on a beautiful greenbelt beaming with wildlife and birds.
The furnished cottage has a private entrance, can accommodate up to 5 persons and consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom is equipped with a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom is fitted with a separate bath and a shower, a basin, and a toilet. Bed linen and bath towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
The well-equipped kitchen contains appliances to cook meals, including a selection of utensils, a dishwasher, a washing machine, an ice machine, and a fridge/freezer. The open-plan living area offers a dining table with seating, a sofa to relax on, a TV, and a large fireplace. Free Wi-Fi access and a selection of satelite channels is available.
Guests are welcome to make use of the braai facilities on the patio. There is undercover parking for one vehicle on the property. The property uses solar power for some support during loadshedding. Come and enjoy a quiet getaway next to the coast with the beach just a few minute's walk away. Various paths to enjoy walking and mountain biking in the area.
If you need to go shopping the WestCoast Mall is a mere 12 km away in Vredenburg where you can find anything to your heart's desire. The area offers quite a few attractions and best to ask the host on recommendations. There are a couple of restaurants in town if you don't feel like having a braai. They come well recommended. Jacobsbaai is very central to visit other little places of interest such as Langebaan, Velddrif, Paternoster and St. Helena Bay.
Due to our fence height of 90 cm, we can only accommodate small-breed dogs. The garden is shared with two miniature Schnauzers and is secure, with no areas for escape.
