As jy druk verkeer en 'n gesoek na parkeerplek verpes gaan Clarens jou aanvanklik skok, want die plek is besig. Vir my persoonlik is Clarens meer 'n naweekwegbreek as 'n langer vakansieplek. As jy van stap hou gaan jy in die wolke wees oor al die wandelpaaie. Daar is ook 'n rystoelvriendelike staproete."

'n Mens het iewat onveilig gevoel want hulle is in jou gesig die heeltyd. Clarens was nog altyd 'n bekoorlike plek maar die volume mense en gepaardgaande chaos maak afbreuk aan die gevoel."
