Would not go there again. Before I booked this accommodation, I emailed the website to ask if there were any braai facilities on the apartment's balcony that we could use. They confirmed that there is a braai facility on the balcony. However, when we first tried to braai there, the smoke wouldn't go up the chimney, and the people staying above us came down to complain that we could not braai there. They explained that their chimney had been sealed, so we could not use our braai because the smoke went onto their balcony. This was very frustrating, as I had taken the time to confirm with the website that we could braai on our balcony. We were unable to braai for the rest of our weeklong holiday because it was raining, and the other braai facility was at the poolside. Very disappointing.

Hi Ronel, Thank you for your feedback, we have taken note. Kindly note that the braai facility described on the website is a communal braai facility and that the inside braai that we purchased was a recent installation due to numerous guest requests (we were really excited about the new addition). We had no way to have known that the upstairs apartment closed their chimney, which we will address with urgency with the body corporate. We love our home and pride ourselves on the exceptional ratings received from all our previous guests (all over 9.5). We apologise for your bad experience. Regards, 1 St Daniels Owner
