Wonderful stay in Montagu with exceptional hospitality. We had a fantastic weekend stay hosted by Leon, who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The house offers a beautiful view over the town of Montagu, perfectly nestled in the valley. We were pleasantly surprised by all the thoughtful touches — a welcome drink on arrival, rusks and milk in the fridge, locally made dried snacks, and even chocolates on the bedside tables. The house is spread over three levels: the comfortable living area below with access to the braai facilities and pool, and a spacious bedroom with a full bathroom upstairs. There’s also a walk-in closet with plenty of space and a small safe for valuables. A convenient guest toilet is located near the entrance. The kitchen is impressively well-equipped — complete with a washing machine, air fryer, microwave, stove, and an abundance of cookware (sometimes multiple sets!). It’s ideal for anyone who enjoys self-catering. The living area also includes a full DStv bouquet for relaxing evenings in. Leon provided brochures of the area and shared excellent local recommendations on restaurants, hiking trails, and things to do. He checked in daily to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Although there was a fire on the nearby mountain range during our visit which occasionally affected the view, it didn’t take away from how special and relaxing our stay was. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Montagu — for its stunning location, warm hospitality, and all the thoughtful details that make it feel like a home away from home.

Exquisite! Our overnight stay was simply wonderful. The setting is serene and breathtaking, and the apartment itself is absolutely stunning - beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail that makes it feel both luxurious and homely. Leon and Adri were exceptional hosts: warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Their hospitality truly elevated our experience. We'll definitely be booking a longer stay on our next visit to Monagu!
