House Rules
Just some basics regarding the check-in and rules of the estate.
You will receive an entry and exit code before your arrival. This needs to be given to security on entry. Please have your ID with you. I will send you two codes per day in case you need to go out more often, you are welcome to send me a message if you need more codes.
Check in time is from 2pm.
Please note this is a self-catering unit.
Please note the unit does not have a daily cleaning service, unless prior arrangements and a booking for this service has been made and paid for. This would only apply on weekdays, weekends and public holidays not available for this service.
The key for the apartment is in the lock-box, I will send you a video explaining how to gain entry - I will also send the code to you on the day you book in for the lock-box.
The key is for the front sliding door. You only have access to the unit - not to the main house.
If you come in two cars, each vehicle will need a separate entry and exit code. Security is extremely strict, and the rules need to be adhered to – entry and exits’ will only be allowed with a code. This is to protect the owners, tenants and residents.
Please send me your contact card via WhatsApp so that I can generate your code. Each code is valid for one entry and exit.
Any fines issued due to non-compliance will be billed to the booker.
STRICTLY ONLY TWO PEOPLE MAY OCCUPY THIS UNIT.
You have one parking available, under the gazebo right outside the unit.
No parking in front of the garages, there is additional visitors parking at the end of Marine Drive.
No parties allowed on the premises.
There is no noise policy between 10pm and 7am Mon to Sat (security will intervene).
There is no noise policy at all on a Sunday (security will intervene)
We have added a small braai facility outside your apartment along the canal’s edge.
Wi-Fi code and other info is on the shelf on the counter in the lounge area.
Please do not tamper with or unplug the WIFI router. This will affect the grid.
Water is precious. Please use sparingly and be considerate.
We have amazing restaurants, Checkers, Food Lovers Market, DisChem Pharmacy, and many other stores 800m from Leisure Bay.
We have a public swimming pool in the estate on the other side of the lake with lovely walkways. You can either drive there (parking is available) or take a walk along the decked walkway.
Check out by 10 a.m. please. You can drop the key off at the main house or leave the key on the counter in the unlocked Airbnb apartment.
FIREWORKS ARE PROHIBITED.
Swimming in the lake is entirely at your own risk and not encouraged due to the amount of rain that we have had.
