38 La Mer is situated in Illovo Beach, just 30 km south of Durban and offers quality accommodation for a family or group of friends. The quiet, unspoilt coastal village of Illovo Beach boasts blissfully balmy weather all year round and the warm tropical water of the Indian Ocean.
The first-floor apartment comprises 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 guests at a time. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and basin. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, and the third bedroom has 1 single bed. The second bathroom is equipped with a shower, bath, toilet and basin.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery.
The lounge has comfortable couches as well as a TV with DStv, and a dining area with ample seating where guests can enjoy their meals together. Guests can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi access.
The main bedroom and lounge have direct access to a wide terrace with a 160-degree sea view, outdoor furniture and a gas braai.
Guests are afforded secure parking on the premises.
The beach, accessed by a private gate, is a short walk from the apartment and offers excellent fishing off the beach, safe swimming in shark-net protected waters, blissful sunbathing and endless sand-castle building opportunities. The lagoon at the mouth of the Lovu River is a haven for bird-watching and canoeing.
