Pleasant stay. We had an overall good stay here. The property itself is very charming, with a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful exterior and decor. It’s centrally located, which makes getting around easy. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. We appreciated the secure parking on site. That said, there were a few things that impacted our experience. The bathroom setup was unfortunately slightly uncomfortable. In the room we booked, there isn’t a proper door to separate the bathroom from the rest of the room, but rather swing doors with open frame sections covered by fabric. The doors don’t meet up properly, so you can see into the bathroom even when they are “closed”. This means the bathroom isn’t fully private from the room (steam and smells fill up the whole room as well). The shower design also isn’t ideal, as water easily floods the bathroom and soaks the mat. Additionally, only one towel per person was provided, which felt a bit limiting, especially when you need a separate towel for hair or general use (or to dry the floor of the flooded bathroom).
