Anna’s Farm guesthouse (close to the N2 between Swellendam and Heidelberg on the Malgas road) is the place to be. Come and enjoy a peaceful time on our grain and sheep farm. The old majestic farmhouse was built in 1937.
Charming bedrooms with antiques, fresh flowers, tea tray and sherry (on the house) is a peaceful haven to return to after visiting places of interest in the vicinity. A perfect stay for a family or a group. Enjoy traditional home-cooked meals in the family dining room in the company of your hosts.
To sip a glass of good South-African wine at the fireplace or on the big verandah while watching the sweeping views of farmlands, birds, animals and the Langeberg Mountains, is farm life at its best. Wi-Fi is also available.
In the immediate surroundings, Blue Crane and Ostrich lovers will have an excellent opportunity to take nature photographs of these lovely bird species. You will also get the chance to watch the local birds in their own habitat. Heidelberg is also becoming as famous as Oudtshoorn for ostrich breeding.
