Exceptional place, fantastic view, friendly staff. Definitely 5/5. It was an unforgettable weekend where we as a family made lots of wonderful memories. We had everything we needed. The kitchen is beautiful, with a fantastic large gas stove and a spacious fridge/freezer that easily accommodated all the food we brought. Outside, there was plenty of space, and the upgraded chairs allowed the whole family to sit comfortably together around the fire pit. David was just a WhatsApp message away and promptly assisted us with any requests we had. Even the owner came around and introduced himself. The hospitality and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future. Although it was on a farm in the mountains, we felt super secure and safe behind the controlled gate and fences. Just some positive feedback on very small things that can also make it even more comfortable: a towel rail in the spare bedroom and perhaps a small table or stand for toiletries would be very useful, and bedside lamps in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms would also be great and convenient. Other than these minor suggestions, our stay was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Thank you very much .

I was very peaceful. It was nice and relaxing.

Awesome. Absolutely awesome place. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

We were able to relax and enjoy our stay away from the city. Great house. My friends and I had a very good time. We saw quite a few bucks while we were there. The caretaker stays quite close, so he was readily available when we needed him. The only issue was that we struggled to get hot water for showers. But he was always there to help with that.

We had a lovely time. Peaceful and calm, beautiful big house, amazing view and well equipped for your stay. The host is available to assist if you need anything.

Vreedsame rus geleentheid. Baie oulike wegbreek in die Magaliesberge. Ek het telkemale die naweek vir my man genoem hoe oulik en hoe goed ingerig die plek is.

Highly recommend Athule Inn. Our weekend at Athule Inn was absolutely amazing — peaceful, relaxing, and everything we needed. The owners are exceptionally accommodating and friendly, and they went above and beyond to make our special occasion truly unforgettable.

Relaxing bushveld experience close to Johannesburg. Great 3 bedroom house close to Johannesburg. Well equipped with everything you need. Nice to have buck roaming around the property. Excellent communication from the team.
