Bailey’s Riverside Cottage offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in the Groenfontein Valley near Calitzdorp in the Klein Karoo, situated at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains. It is ideal for a couple looking for a peaceful nature retreat, but can accommodate up to 4 guests, making it suitable for small families as well. The cottage is located just a few minutes from the Calitzdorp wine route and Route 62.

The cottage offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and consists of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan living area. The bedroom is furnished with two single beds, and two additional single beds are located in the living area. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower and toilet.

The open-plan kitchen and living area includes a stove, oven, fridge, cutlery, and crockery, as well as a dining table with seating for four guests. A cosy indoor fireplace provides warmth during cooler Karoo evenings.

The cottage opens onto a covered stoep with an outdoor braai area, where guests can relax and enjoy the peaceful valley surroundings.

Well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement, making the cottage suitable for guests travelling with their furry companions.
