Description

Branksome Country House is a self-catering guest house situated on Branksome farm, a working farm in the Southern Drakensberg. This is the perfect place to visit for guests seeking relaxation and an escape from the pressures of city life. It is located in a remote valley, far removed from civilization, and right in the midst of nature. A tranquil and serene setting to unwind and destress.

Each room has been named and themed after a significant part of the Vosloo family history, and is decorated accordingly. In order for guests to really escape and appreciate the serene and peaceful surrounds, all our rooms are TV-free. Guests are encouraged to escape from technology and reconnect with nature and their loved ones. Branksome Country House caters to discerning guests in five stylish mountain-facing rooms. Each room has a private patio, and is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin, and a loft bedroom furnished with 2 single beds catering for children.

A fully equipped kitchen in the open plan lounge and dining areas allows you to prepare meals at your leisure. A large built-in braai is available in the bar area so that you can satisfy your grilling needs regardless of the weather. Breakfast and dinner can be prepared for you on request.

Walk, ride, hike, and mountain bike along the farm jeep tracks when feeling adventurous, or discover the delights of fly fishing in the Sterkspruit River and the other world renowned waters, such as the Bell and Bokspruit that are in close proximity.
