House Rules

Check-in is from 14:00 to 21:00, and check-out is at 10:00. Early check-in or late check-out must be arranged in advance.
Only the number of guests listed on the booking may stay overnight, and no unregistered visitors or extra overnight guests are permitted without prior approval.
Quiet hours are from 21:00 to 08:00, and guests are asked to keep noise to a reasonable level at all times. No parties or events are allowed.
For safety, all doors and windows must be locked when leaving the house, open flames may not be left unattended, and heaters, stoves, and the braai must be switched off after use.
Guests are expected to keep the home tidy, wash dishes before checkout, shake out sand before entering, and refrain from smoking indoors. Dry-cleaning costs will be charged if curtains or other fabrics smell of smoke.
The braai must be used safely, the grid cleaned after use, and coals fully extinguished. Hot equipment may not be placed on outdoor furniture.
Lights, fans, and appliances should be turned off when not in use.
Pets are only allowed with prior approval. They must be kept off furniture, and guests are liable for any pet-related damages.
Any accidental damage or breakages must be reported immediately, and guests are responsible for repair or replacement costs.
Rubbish must be placed in the bins provided, bags should be secured, and recycling guidelines followed. Rubbish may not be left outside.
Sand must be rinsed off before using indoor showers, and wet swimwear or towels may not be placed on indoor furniture.
Before departure, guests must wash dishes, remove food from the fridge, take out rubbish, close windows, lock up, and return the keys as instructed.
The geyser trip switch should be checked on arrival. Hot water is available from 06:00 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 24:00. Guests may switch it on outside these times but must turn it off once heated, and it must be switched off when checking out or leaving for extended periods.
A secure key box is provided for check-in, and the code will be sent before arrival. Keys must be returned to the key box at checkout, and the code may not be shared outside the group.
Wi-Fi details will be provided. Guests may not share the password, and if the connection drops, the router can be restarted.
No loud music is allowed at any time. A Bluetooth speaker is provided, but the volume must remain reasonable. External speakers and DJ equipment are not permitted.
