Not for me. I won't stay there again. My overnight stay was unfortunately not a pleasant experience. The reception process felt quite impersonal and unwelcoming, as communication with the receptionist took place through a closed steel door. I was asked to provide proof of payment despite having already paid through the website, and the key, along with a form, was passed through a slot in the door. Upon entering the room, I noticed that a few important items were missing, including a kettle and towels. There was also an unopened packet of condoms left on the bedside table, which made the room feel unclean and uncomfortable. In addition, there was significant noise from the adjacent room, which made it difficult to relax. To their credit, after raising these concerns, the receptionist consulted with the owner, and I was offered an alternative private room on the other side of the property, which I appreciated. Overall, while the issue was partially resolved, the initial experience and condition of the room were disappointing. Good day, we do appreciate your response to all matters raised. The reception was partly under renovation and so normal service was disrupted. After payment, we do ask for proof of payment to confirm that you are the guest we are expecting. We recently had a visit from health workers who asked if it was OK for us to have condoms in drawers, and we accepted this, which we have since reversed after your dissatisfaction. Though they were never opened, as you say. The room costing R650 only had a bar fridge and microwave as it's listed; we don't offer kettles in those rooms. We appreciate your concerns and will address all that has to be addressed.
