Farm life is the best life! We had a great stay on Heuningklip farm at the Tolhuis. The view was breathtaking! The sunrise and sunset do something for your soul. The sheep were the best. The mother with the twin sheep was our entertainment for the day. Everything we needed for the braai and potjie was there. My husband and I went for a 5 km walk and it was just what we needed. The children really enjoyed the hot tub. And it showed them that one can get by without televisions or WiFi. They thanked us for the getaway. There was no noise, no annoying neighbors or loud music. It was now a getaway of the highest quality. If you feel life is pressing on you, stay at the Tolhuis. Oh yes, and they have the best firewood. 123 and your fire is burning there. No hassle. The owners are lovely people. They were so nice and brought us wood again. When we opened the door in the morning, the whole sheep family was lying in front of the door ready to greet us.
