Cool respite in deep Karoo. We spent one night, the owners and staff were helpful and the cottage was attractive and cool. It was very, very hot, which made any exploration difficult. We enjoyed watching the large baboon troops and encountered a gemsbok in the thicket. Our dog was safe and welcome. I think the cottage is a bit overpriced, especially as few hospitality items were provided, such as bathroom soap.
