Description
Festina Lente in Onrus offers comfortable self-catering accommodation. The house is a 15-minute walk from a swimming beach and a 10-minute drive from the wineries of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.
The rustic house features exposed walls and an upper wooden floor, and accommodates six guests in three bedrooms with two en-suite bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms each have a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom that includes a shower over the bath.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, air fryer, microwave, dishwasher, and cooking utensils.
Other amenities include a TV, Wi-Fi, DVD player, secure parking, an inverter, and a battery to ensure that essential appliances such as lights, the TV, phones, and computers can be used during load-shedding. Clear safety instructions are also provided.
Onrus offers a variety of activities, including swimming at Onrus Beach within walking distance, visiting local farmers’ markets, whale watching from the cliffs of Hermanus, dining at nearby restaurants, wine tasting at renowned wineries such as Creation and Bouchard Finlayson in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, fishing, mountain biking, golfing at Arabella or in Hermanus, and hiking in the Fernkloof Nature Reserve.
A security camera at the front of the house monitors the entrance year-round for guest safety. There are no cameras inside the house.
