The rates are calculated per person per night and therefore bedding will only be provided for the number of guests booked at all times. If 2 single rooms are required, please inform us when booking. This rates system is used to make the cottage more affordable for 2 to 4 guests, instead of paying the full unit rate per night.
A maximum of 4 dogs per booking is allowed if arranged in advance. However, there is an additional payment of R50 per dog, if approved, and must be paid in cash on arrival.
One has to drive a provincial dirt road to get to the farm which is not in a good condition, so we recommend a vehicle with a high ground clearance and a 4x4. There is an alternative route that will make the journey 30 mins longer from Dullstroom. A 4x4 is recommended during the rainy season.
Fishing rods are available for hire. Guests will receive 2 bags of firewood on arrival for the fireplace and more wood is available at an additional cost.
Please note that the nearest shops, restaurants and other amenities are in the towns of Lydenburg and Dullstroom.
