Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R1500 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

The breakage deposit is payable at the time of booking and will be refunded within 24 hours after departure, provided no damage or breakages are reported.

Guests are expected to treat the home as they would their own.
Any damage or breakages must be reported immediately so items can be repaired or replaced for future guests.
Basic tidiness is expected.
Dishes should be washed or the dishwasher loaded before departure.
All food must be removed from the fridge, and rubbish must be disposed of in the designated bins.
Guests must respect the neighbours.
Noise must be kept to a minimum, especially between 22:00 and 07:00.
Loud music and parties are not permitted.
Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.
All doors and windows must be locked when leaving the property.
Fires, candles, and braais must not be left unattended.
Smoking indoors is not permitted.
Cigarettes must be smoked only in designated outdoor areas, with butts disposed of responsibly.
Pets are allowed only with prior approval at the time of booking.
Guests must clean up after pets, including in the garden, and keep them off the furniture.
Appliances must be used responsibly.
Excessive water or electricity usage must be avoided, particularly during load shedding or water restrictions.
Only toilet paper may be flushed.
Sanitary products, wipes, or foreign objects must not be disposed of in the toilets.
The pool may be used at guests’ own risk.
The pool pump and light must not be switched off as they are set on a timer.
Guests may top up the pool if necessary.
No glass is permitted near the pool area.
Children must be supervised at all times.
The braai must be cleaned after use.
Coals, wood, and fires must be fully extinguished before leaving.
The gas braai on the deck must be cleaned after use.
Blinds on the deck should be closed at night in case of rain to protect the furniture.
The boat is strictly off limits and must not be climbed on or played on.
On departure, all lights and appliances must be switched off.
All windows must be closed and doors locked.
Keys must be left in the agreed drop-off location.
