Greeff Cottage comprises two separate self-catering cottages situated on a working ostrich farm, just 8 km from Oudtshoorn, with stunning views of the Swartberg Mountains.
The property can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests across 3 units. The large family cottage, Benmonca, sleeps up to 5 guests and features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen and living area, and a playroom. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed with full en-suite, while the second bedroom includes a double bed and a three-quarter bed. All bathrooms are equipped with towels, and all rooms have ceiling fans.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with extra freezer space available on request. The living area is air-conditioned and includes an indoor braai, dining table, TV with Netflix and DVD player, a selection of children’s DVDs, and free Wi-Fi.
The property is child-friendly, offering a large playroom with toys and books, as well as a baby chair and bath chair on request. A laundry room with washing and ironing facilities, including a washing machine, is also available.
The second unit, Lentelus, has one bedroom furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom (shower, basin, toilet), an open-plan living area with a kitchenette, dining table, fireplace, and a single bed for a third person. The bedroom has a ceiling fan, and the living area is air-conditioned. Children under 2 years are not permitted in this unit.
LuFan Studio, with 2 single beds and a studio-style layout, is ideal for travellers seeking extra style and comfort.
Each cottage has its own braai area, with the option to use the lapa on request. The grounds offer plenty of space for children to play, run, and ride bicycles, and ample parking is available.
The area is popular for cycling and walking, with numerous trails on the farm and in the surrounding region. Guests are encouraged to bring bicycles and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Little Karoo, perfect for photography.
