Smoking or vaping inside the chalet is not permitted.

We reserve the right of admission.

Accommodation rates exclude Dinokeng Game Reserve Conservation Fees.

Conservation Fees and Self-Drive Permits can be purchased online at https://dinokeng.plnktn.io/south. As a Dinokeng Game Reserve Certified Partner (DGRCP), Kakibos can issue guests with a discount code, reducing the Conservation Fee to R85 per person per day.

Fires may only be made in the designated braais and fire pits. Fires on the ground are not permitted.

Before retiring for the evening, please ensure your fire is completely extinguished using the supplied fire drum.

During periods of extreme fire danger, we may request that no open fires be made. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Please keep noise to a minimum after 20:00 and be considerate of fellow guests and neighbouring properties.

Feeding, baiting or approaching wild animals is strictly prohibited. Please remember that Kakibos is situated within a Big 5 game reserve, and all wildlife should be treated with caution and respect.

Guests acknowledge that staying in a wildlife area involves inherent risks, including encounters with wild animals, insects and reptiles. Guests are responsible for exercising reasonable care at all times and for supervising children.

Kakibos, its owners and staff shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss or damage arising from the inherent risks associated with staying in a wildlife area, including, but not limited to, injuries resulting from contact with wildlife, snakes, insects, or other natural hazards, except where such loss or damage results from negligence or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

As per Dinokeng Game Reserve rules, pets are not permitted. Registered guide dogs and other service animals are welcome by prior arrangement.

Guests are responsible for any loss of, or damage to, the chalet, its contents or equipment caused during their stay.

Please leave the chalet and its contents in the same condition in which you found it.
