Description
Klein Tambotieboom is a private bush lodge located in the heart of the Waterberg, approximately 25 km outside Bela-Bela, within the Mbizi Game Lodge Reserve. Surrounded by natural bushveld, abundant wildlife, and tranquil scenery, the home offers a peaceful escape for families and friends. The property is situated about 125 km from Pretoria and 175 km from Johannesburg. Please note that the last section of the road leading to the house is rocky, and a vehicle with high ground clearance is recommended.
The house accommodates up to 12 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms 3 of which are furnished with comfortable king-size beds, as well as a loft area fitted with 4 bunk beds that are ideal for children. There are 3 bathrooms and an additional guest toilet located near the entertainment area. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning for added comfort.
The fully equipped kitchen caters to all self-catering needs and includes a fridge, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher, washing machine, water machine, and a variety of small appliances with a breakfast counter and a dining table for 4 guests. The dining area forms part of the open-plan living space and offers ample seating for shared meals and gatherings. The air-conditioned lounge provides comfortable seating and opens onto the outdoor areas, creating a relaxing space where guests can unwind and enjoy quality time together.
The spacious entertainment area is designed for socializing and features a double built-in braai, gas braai, stylish bar area, industrial ice machine, jacuzzi, and a large table with seating for 10 guests. Outside, guests can enjoy the swimming pool, covered patio, and boma braai area, which offers the perfect setting for evenings around the fire while taking in the peaceful bushveld surroundings.
As part of Mbizi Game Lodge, guests have access to a variety of facilities and activities, including a restaurant and bar, heated indoor swimming pools, mini golf, children’s play areas, a spa, and a convenience store. The reserve also offers hiking and cycling trails, birdwatching, game viewing, and a 4x4 route for outdoor enthusiasts.
