Description
Langverwacht Self-Catering House is a modern farm-style home located on a smallholding just 10 km from Bonnievale, offering a peaceful escape from the bustle of everyday life. The house can comfortably accommodate a family of up to 7 guests.
The home comprises 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom fitted with both a bath and a shower. An outside room with double bed and own bathroom can be used as a 3rd bedroom. It is right next to the house,but has no linked entrance to the house. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a pull-out single bed suitable for a child, while the second bedroom features 2 single beds.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove and oven, microwave, fridge, and a dining table. The lounge area offers a cosy fireplace and a single sleeper couch for a child. The living space opens onto a patio with lovely views of the surrounding vineyards and horses. A play area with swing and sandpit is also provided for children.
In summer, guests can cool off in a cement reservoir located near the house. While not a swimming pool, it is enclosed with a fence and offers a refreshing dip. This is very deep and adult supervision is needed at all times. Additionally, a holding area around 300 metres from the house is bordered by a small river, which is an ideal spot for children to play and splash about. A small watercanal borders the garden. Although very shallow, take caution when visiting with small children.
Langverwacht Self-Catering House is located a short drive from hiking and mountain trails that offer spectacular views and lookout points. It lies on a popular wine route, giving guests the opportunity to visit nearby cellars and restaurants. Bonnievale is home to a number of wine estates, the famous Klipdrift brandy distillery, and a selection of local eateries. A variety of activities, such as fishing, are also available in the surrounding area.
