Description
Lourie Bush Retreat is a beautiful self-catering holiday home located on the southern border of the Kruger National Park in the heart of Marloth Park and allows guests to enjoy frequent visits from warthogs, kudus, impalas, zebras, ostriches and giraffes or guests can listen to the lions, hyenas and hippos while the campfire burns in the boma.
This home is suitable for 4 adults and 2 children. Both bedrooms are furnished with a queen-size bed, air conditioning, and an en-suite bathroom featuring a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided, but guests are kindly requested to bring their own swim towels. There is also a sleeper couch available for 2 children.
The air-conditioned open-plan main living area features a kitchen that is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a breakfast bar with stools. Leading from the kitchen is a lounge area featuring comfortable seating, a TV, and a sleeper couch suitable for 2 children. Guests can access their own DStv or Netflix accounts via Wi-Fi, which is provided for free throughout the unit.
Outside the unit, there is a covered patio, a boma with braai facilities, and a lovely swimming pool where guests can cool off during the summer. Guests can also take a walk along the Crocodile River in the morning or visit the Kruger National Park, which is just 20 km away.
Lourie Bush Retreat is the ideal destination for nature lovers, and it is also centrally located for those wishing to play a round of golf during their getaway. The Kambaku Golf Course in Komatipoort and the Malelane Golf Course are just 20 minutes away.
