Good weekend stay. Had a lovely stay. Room has everything we needed for a two-night stay with no intention to cook. The only issue we had was the oscillating fan that was provided was making a scraping noise when we used it the first night, so I had to unscrew the cover, which then stopped the noise. The room was really warm at night, so the fan was needed. The room doesn't really have windows that can be opened for fresh air. There are long glass doors which we opened in the morning to vent the place, and this also opened to an amazingly green backyard space. There is no door to the toilet and no roof either. So if you are sharing the space with someone else, you have to be comfortable enough to deal with that. The toilet does have an extractor fan which helped. The DSTV also wouldn't play, but that always seems to happen. We instead watched some Netflix when we did want to watch TV. Some coffee, tea, milk, sugar and rusks were provided, neat touch. There was also a steam iron which really helped since we attended a funeral and needed to refresh our clothes. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood but close to the town and shops, so we were able to get food easily.

Pleasantly relaxing. No, I would not recommend it to friends because I will have nowhere to stay. Hahah.

I loved it and will be back. This venue was one of the best I've stayed in, and for much less than others cost. The owners were amazing, made me feel so welcome. They went the extra mile by returning a package I had left behind. I will definitely be back to Michael's Den on my next trip to George. Thank you Annelle & Colbert.
