Misty Meadows is a self-catering home with stunning views of the trout dams. Situated in Walkersons Estate, a private estate located in the valley of Dullstroom in Mpumalanga. Dullstroom is a natural paradise and offers exceptional panoramas of mountains and wildflowers, and it also boasts excellent restaurants, a craft-beer brewery, and a thriving cultural scene.
The lovely triple-storey house is suitable for 10 guests and comprises 5 spacious and luxurious bedrooms. The main bedroom, situated on the top level, features incredible views of the surrounding mountains and forest. This room is furnished with a king-size bed, seating area, and an open-plan en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, walk-in shower, double washbasin, and toilet.
The second bedroom, situated on the middle floor, is furnished with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a walk-in shower. The third, fourth, and fifth bedrooms each contain a king-size bed and their own en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath or a shower.
On the ground level, there is a modern open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, ice machine, wine-cooler, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer are available in the separate scullery.
Leading from the kitchen is a large 12-seater dining table and a suspended fireplace. The lounge area is furnished with comfortable seating for everyone and a 75" TV with a full selection of DStv channels. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.
Guests have their entertainment area in the loft with another dining and seating area with a bar. A guest bathroom on this level is fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Through the stacking doors downstairs, there is an outdoor seating area with a built-in braai.
Attractions in the area include Dullstroom Nature Reserve, Verloren Vallei Nature Reserve, and Dullstroom Bird of Prey and Rehabilitation Centre.
