Description

Mount Olivet Luxury Tent offers a serene self-catering retreat with breathtaking views of the Kransberg mountains. This private, off-grid solar-powered tent features air-conditioning, a spacious raised deck accessible via stairs, and 360-degree views where guests can observe wildlife such as blesbok, impala, and nyala. Sunrises and sunsets paint the mountains in ever-changing hues. (A 4x4 is recommended during the rainy months as farm roads can become muddy.)

The tent accommodates 2 guests and is furnished with a king-size four-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.

The kitchenette includes a bar fridge, induction plate stove, microwave, basic cutlery and crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A cosy seating area opens onto the wraparound deck, perfect for morning coffee or sundowners. Guests can braai on the deck with a Weber braai, or use the custom-made braai and fire pit near the splash pool for a starry-night experience.

For larger groups, 2 private shaded camping spots with electric hookups and an outside bathroom are available nearby.

Mount Olivet Luxury Tent is located just 10 km from Marakele National Big Five Park. Guests can enjoy the mountain drive to Lenong viewing point, wildlife viewing, and nearby attractions such as the Marakele Animal Sanctuary, with opportunities for a close encounter with lions via the Lion Mobile.
