The room features an en-suite shower bathroom, while guests have access to a communal kitchen with basic cutlery and crockery, a microwave, a kettle, a mini fridge, and a wash-up basin. Complimentary WiFi is included. Located in a quiet, secure setting, it's just a short walk to Muizenberg Beach, cafés, shops, the Blue Bird Garage Market, and the train station—ideal for surfers, remote workers, and Cape Peninsula explorers.
NB: The room does NOT include a full kitchen, oven, or laundry facilities.

House Rules

Due to the age and character of the Lodge, which was built in 1900, and its proximity to the sea, guests with allergies or who are immunocompromised may find this environment unsuitable.
Pets are not allowed.
The minimum booking age is 25 years.
Quiet hours must be observed between 22:00 and 08:00.
No parties or events are allowed.
Smoking, vaping, or e-cigarette use is not permitted inside the property.
All vehicles and persons enter these premises at their own risk. The owner, tenants, or managing agent will not be held liable for any damage, loss, injury, theft, or death arising from any cause whatsoever. Right of admission is reserved.
Guests are requested to bring their own braai grid and firewood. While a braai facility and grid are provided, a perfectly clean grid or a consistent supply of wood cannot be guaranteed.
Responsibility must be taken when using the braai facility to ensure open fires and hot coals have been extinguished and covered after use, as fire is a high risk in the area.
Any faults or issues must be reported to the property manager or owner as they occur so they can be fixed before further damage is caused.
An honesty box system is in place where guests are responsible for breakages, and any incidents must be reported to the property manager.
On-street parking is available directly outside the wooden pedestrian gate. Additional on-street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
