House Rules

The cottage is accessible via a 2 km rugged farm road and requires a high-clearance vehicle such as an SUV, double cab, 4x4, or bakkie.

Fire Safety: The cottage is surrounded by fynbos, which is highly flammable. Guests must not leave the braai fire unattended and must ensure it is fully extinguished after cooking.

Baboons: Wildlife in the surrounding forest includes baboons. Guests must ensure all windows and doors are securely closed when the cottage is unoccupied. Baboons must not be fed, and no food should be left outside. Rubbish bins must be securely closed.

Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.

Septic Tank: The toilets are connected to a septic tank. Guests must only flush toilet paper. Sanitary pads, tampons, and nappies must not be disposed of in the toilet.

Farm Gates: There may occasionally be cattle on parts of the property. Guests must ensure that all gates are closed behind them.
