Amazing. This is our second stay at this location and the hostess is very kind and sweet. We would definitely stay there again as it's safe and in close distance to Cape Town CBD and it's very peaceful.

Our stay at On 17 Avondale was made truly unforgettable thanks to Inge, the most thoughtful and caring host we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment we arrived, she went far above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The accommodation itself is as neat as a pin – spotless, beautifully arranged, and filled with thoughtful touches that show how much pride and love Inge puts into her place. It genuinely felt like a home away from home. What really stood out was her incredible kindness. When our Uber Eats order didn’t arrive, Inge was so genuinely concerned and went out of her way to check in and make sure we were okay. And then, to top it all off, she spoiled us with freshly baked shortbread biscuits – such a sweet, unexpected gesture that meant the world to us. Inge is a rare kind of host: warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to her guests’ comfort. We cannot recommend On 17 Avondale highly enough. Thank you, Inge, for your hospitality and heart.
