House Rules
There is an approximately 2 km gravel road leading to the property, which is generally suitable for standard vehicles, excluding low-profile or sports cars. However, in rainy conditions, a 4x2 or 4x4 vehicle is required, as guests will need to cross a small river to reach the tent.
Guests are requested to keep food and drinks inside, as leaving them outside can attract baboons.
Due to the surrounding mountains, there is no cellphone signal on the farm. Each unit is, however, equipped with Wi-Fi. Guests are advised to connect to the Wi-Fi upon arrival.
To help keep insects, bats, spiders, and mosquitoes outside, all doors should be kept closed at night. As the units are set in nature, guests are asked to understand that wildlife cannot be controlled.
Any damages should be reported immediately.
Smoking and the use of candles inside or near the units are strictly prohibited for safety and insurance reasons.
Pet Policy (Glamping Guests Only):
Only small dogs are allowed at an additional cost. Pets are not permitted on beds, blankets, or towels. An additional cleaning fee will be charged if there are muddy paw prints on white linen or towels. The property reserves the right to charge for damages or deep cleaning if required. Puppies under one year old and medium or large dogs are not permitted.
Guests wishing to have dishes cleaned on the day of check-out can arrange this in advance. An additional fee applies for this service.
During load shedding, power outages may occur. Each unit is provided with two solar-charged lanterns.
Each unit is supplied with 10 bags of wood at an additional cost. Payment for wood can be made via EFT at check-out.
Guests are reminded to pack a lighter, firelighters, and Peaceful Sleep/Tabar to help keep insects away.
Guests may enjoy the Super-Tube upon request; it is only activated when guests are ready to participate.
Fire Safety & Amenities:
No open fires or braais are permitted. The firepit and hot tub should be used responsibly and with care.
