House Rules
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house, including vaping, hookahs (Hubbly-Bubbly), and similar products.
Check-in and Check-out:
Check-in: 15:00 – 19:00. Late arrivals may incur an additional charge if not arranged in advance.
Check-out: By 10:00. During peak season, check-out is strictly enforced to allow cleaning before the next guests arrive. Late departures may incur an additional charge.
The maximum number of guests on the property at any time is limited to the number agreed upon in your reservation.
No pets or other animals are allowed on the premises.
Guests are not permitted to move furniture or take it outside the property.
Fires may only be made in designated areas. Betty’s Bay is a high wildfire-risk area, so never leave fires unattended and avoid starting fires during strong winds.
Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 08:00. The property is located in a residential area within a biosphere, and loud music or disturbances will be reported to the authorities.
When leaving the house unattended, ensure all windows are closed and doors are locked.
Do not dispose of food waste, cooking fats, hazardous liquids, wet wipes, diapers, or feminine hygiene products in toilets, sinks, or drains. The property uses a septic tank system.
Guests are responsible for any damages or losses incurred during their stay. Any accidental damage should be reported immediately.
A compulsory cleaning fee is charged for the final checkout clean, which covers a thorough professional clean of the entire property.
Additional cleaning or housekeeping services (e.g., mid-stay refreshes, linen changes, or extra tidying) can be arranged through Overstrand Accommodations for an additional fee. Please request this in advance to schedule at the current housekeeping rate.
