House Rules
Smoking, vaping, as well as the use of incense, smoke, or perfume-producing devices, are strictly prohibited inside the home.
There are designated outdoor areas, decks and balconies where guests can smoke.
Please note that Pezula is a closed, high-security estate with regular patrols in the area.
The speed limit on the estate is 40 km/hour, and should not be exceeded.
No parties or events are allowed on the property/estate.
No excessive noise is allowed past 10 pm.
Pets are not allowed.
Please follow the host’s requirements for preventing baboons from entering and damaging the properties. This will be communicated upon arrival.
If any breakages or accidental spills occur, we ask that you please report the incident to the host or to housekeeping immediately.
Walking on the Golf Course is permitted before 7 am and after 7 pm. No bicycles are allowed on the Golf Course.
The estate rules allow a maximum of 8 people at Pezula Magic Retreat.
Water Update for Guests
Please note that Knysna is currently on Level 4 water restrictions. While Pezula Magic Retreat has not experienced any water interruptions, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of water usage in support of ongoing conservation efforts.
Please Note – Residential Estate Construction
Magic Retreat is located within the Pezula Golf Estate, an active residential area where construction may take place on nearby properties. While we have no control over when or where this happens, we assure you it does not obstruct our views of the lagoon, golf course, or ocean.
