Customer service needs to be stepped up. Everything worked well and was clean and tidy. Although their website says it is serviced every day, we had to ask for towels and toilet paper every now and then, and the bathroom bin was not emptied for 4 days. When we complained about it, the receptionist took it out.

We had a nice stay, would recommend. The place is beautiful, value for money, clean and peaceful. We had a lovely stay and would definitely visit again. The only negative point was the communication from the contact person. We usually book through the website, and each time the contact person sent a message to ask what time we would check in, etc. However, email inquiries to Riva were only answered after we contacted the website itself, and there was no further communication after that. Small details like a wall plug near a mirror would also be handy. Apart from that, there was really nothing to complain about. The silence of farm life and a delicious meal at the restaurant were tops.

Riva Resort will be our overnight stop in Upington every time! Thank you. Wonderful stay at Riva Resort which feels like a farm with all the animals, water and the distance from the town. Very quiet at night and the geese wake you up in the morning. Joey is an excellent hostess who regularly checks to see if you need anything while you relax at the restaurant serving delicious food! The room is spacious and the aircon a pleasure! Everything is sparkling clean in the en suite room!
