Our stay was perfect, enjoyed the spacious house with a backup generator. We didn't feel Stage 6 load shedding. The place is quiet and secluded.

Iets uit 'n sprokiesverhaal!

Ons het vir my ma se 50ste Riverside Lodge bespreek - en dit was alles wat ons verwag het en soveel meer! As jy soos ons is wat van die "bos" hou - sal jy glad nie spyt wees nie! Die huis is ongelooflik mooi en uiters gerieflik!

I will recommend Riverside Lodge for a weekend or longer stay with family or friends in the bushveld.

The accommodation is fully equipped with everything you need.

Perfect getaway.

Booked the house for a family reunion/wedding accommodation. Perfect for 4 couples and 4 additional beds in a loft. Very well-equipped and comfortable. It's in the bush and very quiet and relaxing. Check-in was easy and staff very friendly.

Very relaxing couple of days.

We stayed at Riverside Lodge as a big group of friends for 2 days. We were really impressed with the lodge and it far exceeded our expectations. The house is fully kitted out with everything you would need and really comfortable. The use of the cable car and waterpark was great fun for the kids (and adults). The house has a generator which is great during loadshedding. I can't fault anything, really enjoyable place.

Unfortunately our host was rude and she did not care about assisting us all.

She was not helpful at all, our stay was not so great. But the house was beautiful and spacious and it looks more beautiful than the pictures displayed on the internet. The host was very rude to us and to put in a simple manner, she was not helpful at all. We complained about a few things and she did not respond to our calls and respond our message, instead she told me to freely send my complaint to the people I booked via. Like, that did not make sense I actually didn't understand what her role was in all of this. She did not care an inch about making our stay comfortable and convenient. We actually received poor service, I was so disappointed and upset because has behaviour has inconvenience some of our plans. But the house on its own was beautiful and the rooms are spacious with beautiful views.

What a great gem hidden in the bush.

We were 2 families with teens, and all enjoyed it for a long weekend. Cable car and golf round was a bonus. House is clean, spacious and well equipped. Will definitely go again. Note that you need to go in vehicle with high clearance as gravel road to the gate of the estate, some might feel is a bit rough, but was no problem for us.

Far from everything.

It was not what we expected and on the notes it said 15 km to Euphoria but it was 25 km on a gravel road. The cable car can't even reach the place, it was a mess.

It was a little eventful by way of an accident I encountered on Friday evening. However, the generous Phillip was on hand to shoulder all my problems.

First of all I was never told of the gravel road until I paid the full amount.

As I make booking the place shows that is in euphoria but to find out that is in the farm that you travel 30 km on gravel road from main euphoria. We were very much disappointed with the distance and gravel road. Tell people about this gravel and distance b4 bookings.

Dit was perfek.

The accommodation was stunning. Everything you needed was there, it was clean and so comfortable.

Riverside Lodge is 'n baie lekker kuier= en ontspanning plek. Baie stylvol.

Baie gerieflik en goed toegerus waar jy lekker kan kuier.

Ons het baie lekker gekuier. Daar was baie plek vir 8 volwassenes en 4 kinders. Geriewe soos skottelgoedwassers, Weber-braaier, hout, groot opskepbakke het uitgestaan. Die kamers was groot, gerieflik en mooi ingerig en die lodge was oor die algemeen mooi versier. Dit was net die regte plek vir ons groep mense. Net 'n waarskuwing die pad na die lodge is nie baie goed nie as gevolg van so 10 km grondpad en 'n voertuig wat dit kan hanteer word aanbeveel. Klein probleme wat ons gehad het was dat die voordeursleutels aan ons oorhandig was by die hek en ons moes maar self kyk waar pas die ander sleutels wat ons by die lodge gekry het. Ons het 'n kort tydjie van kragonderbreking gehad en die kragonderbreker het nie gewerk nie. Die lodge het 'n grasdak en stof was 'n probleem aan die begin en hier en daar moes mens eers afvee voor jy iets wil doen.

Briljant.

Pragtige plek, met briljante uitleg! Die plek is lekker stil met baie min mense in die omgewing. Ons was verlede naweek 4 paartjies by Riverside gewees en ek was aangenaam verras. Ek was bietjie bekommerd toe ek sien dat iemand gekla het dat die plek vuil was, maar die prys was steeds goed, so toe gaan ons maar. Dit was silwerskoon en goed toegerus. Die kamers is so uitgelê dat almal uit mekaar se pad kan bly en daar is ’n lieflike leefarea met ‘n “sundowner” dek bo, met groot stoep en afkoel swembad onder. Lekker sagte beddens met lugverkoelers en luukse badkamers in elke kamer. Daar was ook ekstra enkelbeddens bo by die leefarea, as jy nie die kinders by jou wil hê nie. Die kombuis is volledig toegerus met alles wat ons nodig gehad het. Ek sal beslis volgende jaar weer probeer gaan.

Relaxing.

Beautiful and spacious place and well equipped with all you need. However extremely dirty and not just some dust from the bush but dirt, spiders and webs everywhere, dirty walls, dirty windows, dirty cupboards with a green pool. We as a family enjoy our visits to the bush and I have never had to clean upon arrival or wait for a pool to clear, the caretaker could have treated the pool the day before our arrival and not 5 minutes before our arrival.
