Delicious. My son, a friend, and I rode by motorcycle from George via Herbertsdale to the Lodge, and then over the Rooiberg Pass via Oudtshoorn home. The Lodge was a welcome refuge after a hard day in the saddle.

A most enjoyable, satisfying stay in the best surrounds, layout, views and food. Excellent stay in the campsite as well as in a chalet. Campsite beautiful setting, layout, with all camping needs taken care of. Communal kitchen thoughtful, stylish. Ablution facilities best I have experienced in SA. Recommending this campsite to all campers. The chalet stay equally satisfying. Magnificent views. I went on a hike up the mountain and the views from there are worth the effort. All trails clearly marked. The restaurant provides an exciting menu with excellent service and of course the wine list, very tempting. Service by all staff is just exemplary.

A wonderful relaxing time, we would go back anytime! My daughter and I had a wonderful 5 day stay, everything is very comfortable, clean, warm (winter!) and the staff is friendly and helpful. The view is beautiful, we went for long walks and mountain climbing.
