• Maximum of 10 guests
• No additional visitors without prior approval
• No parties or events
• Quiet hours: 22:00 – 07:00
• No vehicles parked in the road please

No pets allowed

🏡 Property & Respect
• Locked cupboards are for private use
• Keys must remain in their designated doors
• Books, games and cards are for your enjoyment — please return all items after use

🌬️ Doors & Windows – Important (Wind Precautions)
Strong winds are common in Shelley Point
• Please ensure all windows are closed when leaving the house
• Sudden winds can cause damage if windows are left open

Back Door:
• Keep closed at all times

Front Door:
• Bottom lever – open/close
• Top lever – locks/unlocks (inside only)

🍽️ Kitchen & Appliances
• Dishwasher: No plastics or wooden items
• Coffee machine instructions via QR code (plunger available)
• Feel free to use spices — extras can be left for future guests
• Please do not take crockery or glassware to the beach

🔥 Braai / Ash Disposal – VERY IMPORTANT
Braai is welcome (inside or outside where applicable)
• Ash must be disposed of in the designated ash container/bin only
• Do NOT throw ash over walls, into the garden, or surrounding areas
• Ensure ashes are completely cooled before disposal
• Ensure all fires are out before going to bed

🛁 Bathrooms & Linen
• Do not flush wipes, sanitary items, or foreign objects
• Bath towels are not for beach use
• Swimming towels may be used at the beach or pool

🚫 Sand & Beach Care
• Please rinse off sand before entering the house
• Avoid bringing excessive sand indoors
• Shake out towels outside
• Guests are welcome to take the fold up chairs/ pick nick blanket and coolerbox to the beach.

🏊 Swimming Pool & Clubhouse
• Pool access is via the clubhouse
• Please keep the pool tag safe
• Replacement cost: R150

🧹 Cleaning
• Once-off cleaning fee: R650
• Please leave the home reasonably tidy
• Dispose of rubbish in designated bins
• Optional cleaner available: R370 per day

⚠️ Excessively dirty homes (e.g. stains, ash misuse, excessive rubbish) may result in an additional cleaning fee deducted from the deposit

⚡ Utilities
• Please use water and electricity responsibly
• Load shedding may occur
Backup Power:
• Use sparingly during outages
• No microwave, iron, or hairdryer during this time

🔐 Security
• Lock all doors and windows when leaving
• No candles allowed inside
• Owner not responsible for loss or theft

🗝️ Lockbox (Check-out)
• All keys must be returned to the lockbox
• Ensure the lockbox is securely closed and scramble

🛋️ Furniture
• Furniture may not be moved indoors or outdoors

• Please report any issues immediately during your stay
• Breakages happen — just let us know 😊

Before you leave, please ensure:
• Keys returned to lockbox
• Windows and doors closed
• Lights and appliances switched off
