Important Information for Your Stay at Sibuya Game Reserve.
Sibuya offers three distinct accommodation options: Bush Lodge and Forest Camp are exclusive to adults, with a minimum guest age of 12 years. River Camp, designed for families, welcomes children of all ages.
Booking & Payment Terms:
Guests are required to accept the establishment’s full terms and conditions upon booking.
For bookings made within 28 days of arrival, full payment is required to confirm the reservation.
For bookings made more than 28 days prior to arrival, full payment must be received at least 28 days before the check-in date. Failure to do so will result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
Additional Fees:
A compulsory rhino conservation levy is charged per person per night. This contribution directly supports the protection of rhinos on the reserve and is not included in the accommodation rate.
Arrival & Transfers:
Guests are required to check in at the Sibuya Game Reserve reception in Kenton-on-Sea. Vehicles will remain in a secure parking area, and guests will be transferred to the reserve via boat.
Check-in is strictly at 11:00, as the boat departs once daily at 12:00.
Alternative boat transfer times may be arranged in advance, subject to availability and an additional charge.
Airport transfers can also be arranged through reservations.
Camp Facilities & Power Supply:
Please note that Forest Camp and River Camp operate almost entirely on solar power. These camps do not offer Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, fans, or hairdryers. Mobile phone reception is limited in the camps and throughout the reserve.
