The kitchenette is well equipped with a bar fridge, mini oven with a 2-plate stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. Outside, guests can unwind on their private patio, indulge in outdoor dining, and soak in the breathtaking natural surroundings. Braai facilities are provided, along with on-site parking for added convenience. Enjoy the escape from TV, Wi-Fi, cell signal, and traffic and wake to the sound of birdsong. Mahogany Cottage has steep stairs and is not suitable for the frail.

Description
Mulberry Cottage is a little unit overlooking the grassland. It has wonky wooden floors throughout, a tiny open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with Jetmaster fireplace. The cottage is furnished with 3 cute little double bedrooms each with double doors looking out into the grassland and garden. Mulberry Cottage has one bathroom fitted with a bath. It has a long verandah, a fire pit and braai. Guests still have access to the small dam on the property while being more privately situated. This cottage is preferred by people who wish not to have stairs. It is perfect for 3 singles on retreat or great value for a family who enjoy cosy living or who simply want a tiny homely base from which to explore the Midlands Meander. The cottage has no wifi, no television and limited cell signal, so it is the perfect rural escape in which to retreat. It is on a well maintained dirt road in the pristine Petrus Stroom valley of the Dargle, behind Midmar Dam. Pets are welcome - there are no fences and the property is open to grassland and forest and our own friendly dogs who love having guests.
