Description
Southern Cross is a lovely self-catering cottage, with a private entrance, situated on the owner’s property in Scarborough, Cape Town. It is ideal for a small family or business travellers who are looking for a peaceful and convenient homebase from where they can explore and enjoy this quaint coastal town.
This double-storey cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower fixed over the bath, basin and toilet. The second bedroom contains a three-quarter bed and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Additionally, there is a single bed in the living area. Bed linen and bath towels are provided, however guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A washing machine is provided for added convenience. The dining and lounging areas have comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests can enjoy a balcony with outdoor seating, a braai and unspoiled views of the ocean and the surroundings. Secure parking is available on the premises. Local amenities such as shops and restaurants are within close proximity, with Scarborough beach being approximately 1 km away. Neighbouring towns like Simon’s Town is approximately 13 km away.
