A well situated location, everything was clean and in working order.

Everything was good. The little touches, such as having extra battery lighting for load shedding, were good.

A very relaxing place to spend some quality beach time.

A cosy place to stay with wonderful sea views. Quiet and peaceful for our midweek break. All 3 generations in our family enjoyed the swimming beach!

Just want to say thanks for the updates on the beach, the apartment and the help that we got for our stay in Scottburgh. The apartment was great, all that we wanted, nice and the sea view was perfect. We will definitely suggest people to go and stay in Southsands. It was only me and my wife that stayed there, that made it even better. The security guards were friendly and when started to go down the steps with bags the nightshift security guard came to help with bags. We will definitely make use of Southsands for our holiday accommodation in the future. Thanks.

Pragtige uitsig oor die see.

Caden het ons baie vriendelik ontvang met 'n sak vol lekkernye, insluitende Cadbury. Dis 'n pragtige, gemeubileerde woonstel met 'n wonderlike uitsig oor die see, naby die hoofstrand, winkels en alles verder wat jy nodig het. Dis stil, al wat jy hoor die die branders se lieflike en rustige beweging. 'n Baie goeie keuse.

We had a fantastic stay at Southsands.

We will definitely be back there. The accommodation is cosy with absolutely stunning sea views. We really loved staying there.

Brilliant location right on the beach.

Perfect location but needs attention.

You could not ask for better access to or a greater view of the ocean, nor for a quieter beach. We needed a restful break from everything and that is what we got. The apartment is ideal in terms of size and location, but there are several things that require immediate attention: Some of the dining chairs are broken, others are heading that way soon. The plug in the bottom bathroom sink is stuck. The main bedroom's bathroom sink needs a plug and that drain needs a good cleaning. The tumble dryer filter needs to be replaced and cleaned, which is why it couldn't dry even a few light items. The apartment needs a laundry rack or some place to hang wet clothes/swimwear. The lid of the rubbish bin in kitchen is incomplete, and there was no rubbish bag in it when we arrived, unpleasant odour and unhygienic. The main bedroom's sliding door and shower door are extremely difficult to open perhaps due to the climate, but that can be fixed. That same shower door was dirty something like blue toothpaste smeared on it. The kitchen knives are too blunt to use. The kitchen crockery and utensils need desperate not necessarily expensive supplementation. The kitchen's drying rack and coffee tray were still dirty. There was no hot water from the kitchen tap, despite it running a long while, a waste of water in the end. There are a few very rusty fans, perhaps replace with plastic-framed machines to counter the salty air. Pros: The shower's pressure was lovely and there was enough hot water for all of us. The beds were comfortable and the linen was clean. Listening to the waves at night was wonderfully soothing. The security guard (Matthew) was friendly and very helpful. The apartment is situated close enough to town for convenience, but far enough for privacy. Easily-accessible covered parking. The grounds are neatly kept. Caden was kind enough to check on our travel progress prior to arrival. We would love to recommend Southsands, but on condition that the issues above first be fixed.

The sea view is spectacular! We had all we needed under one roof - nice and cosy. And literally right on the beach.

The setting is absolutely stunning!

Security guards were very friendly, the place is very safe, neat. I am happy.

Die eenheid is gerieflik, maar die yskas is hopeloos te klein en die lugversorging werk nie.

Lekker gebly. Die yskas is baie klein as mens dink daar kan 6 mense bly. Ligging is lekker teen die see maar die aanloop van die hoofpad af is nie lekker nie. Dit voel onveilig alhoewel ons geen probleme gehad het nie. Daar is geen lugversorging. Die oordbestuurder was baie behulpsaam en vriendelik.
