House Rules

Dogs are welcome on request.

Provided: tea, coffee, sugar, milk, rusks, filtered water, wood, ice, and Wi-Fi.

Breakfast Basket, Snack Platter, and Braai Pack Delivery are only available if pre-ordered and pre-paid at least 3 days prior to arrival.

As the property is located in a nature conservatory, music is allowed at a reasonably volume until midnight.

Please do not exceed the speed limit of 40 km/h.

The house is in a fire-sensitive area.

No smoking is allowed inside the Stables; ashtrays are provided outside.

Do not throw cigarette butts into the bush.

Only remove cold ash from the pizza oven, Kol Kol, or fireplace. An ash bucket is provided.

Do not leave children unattended in or around the pool. The Stables cannot be held liable for any injuries or loss of life.

Do not walk on the outer pool rim, and do not jump into the pool, you do that on your own risk.

Please do not use the indoor braai when there is no wind, as the twirley requires airflow; otherwise, smoke will enter the house.

Please ensure the doors are latched when left open.

Please switch off all electrical equipment before leaving your cottage, including the overhead fan.

Wi-Fi with unlimited data is provided. The connection is satellite-based and suitable for regular browsing, emails, and short video calls. Please avoid large downloads or streaming services, as this will slow the connection for all guests.

Please treat the accommodation with respect.

A stock list of all items available in your cottage is provided for your information. If you require anything else, please let us know.

If you break something, please inform us so that we can replace or repair it. If the damage is reasonable, you will not be charged.

Deliberate or careless damage will be charged accordingly.

If items are missing from your cottage and you do not notify us, we reserve the right to charge for them.

Please do not flush sanitary pads down the toilets; use the bins provided.
