Description
Surfer's Watch at Bruce's offers accommodation in a double-storey house in Santareme, St Francis Bay, 450 m from Granny's Pool and 150 m from Bruce's Beauties. It is in the heart of the bay, where there are various water-sport opportunities, and within walking distance of Bruce’s coffee shop. The Two Oceans Hikes route is also 100 m from the house.
The house, which sleeps 8 guests, has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a study, a guest toilet with a bright, spacious open-plan living, cooking & dining area.
The main bedroom is on the first floor and is furnished with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom; it is air-conditioned and has sliding doors on 2 sides that lead out to the balcony. The second bedroom is also on the first floor with a queen-size bed, as well as the third bedroom with 2 single beds; both 2 bedrooms open onto the balcony and share the large family bathroom. The fourth bedroom, with a queen-size bed, is on the lower floor and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. All the bedrooms have televisions.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerators and numerous small appliances. The dining area has an eight-seater dining table. One of the lounge areas has sofas, air conditioning and a wood-burning stove, while the other side is a great area to sit down and read a book. There are also numerous bookcases with many books, a cupboard full of games for children of all ages, 2 DStv decoders and free Wi-Fi. Guests can use the bicycles on request.
There is a picnic table under the milkwood trees, another in the courtyard, as well as other seating in various areas of the garden.
The age has been restricted due to the steep spiral staircase and widely spaced balusters on the second-floor balcony. People with young children have stayed on the ground floor, but this is solely at the guests' discretion.
