The Gull

A great experience with a wonderful host.

The Gull was delightful. We stayed in the cottage which was small but well appointed. Ruth was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed only over the weekend when the unit is not serviced, so cannot comment on that aspect, but overall a most enjoyable stay.

Pynlik netjies. Baie goeie omgewing, voel veilig. Waarde vir geld. Die eienaar is baie vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Die verblyf en alle geriewe was bo gehalte. Sien uit om weer soontoe te gaan. Sal dit aanbeveel as u in 'n rustige, naby die see, loopafstand wil kuier. Geleë naby restuarante. Baie veilige omgewing.

Having the beach just a few meters away and a fun pizza place next door made this an easy and happy stay with little kids.

Perfekte ligging, gasvryheid en verblyf wat ons verwagtig oortref het. Ons sal beslis weer kom.

Alles in die woonstel is nuut of baie mooi onderhou. Dit was 'n plesier om hier te bly. Die ligging naby die strand is 'n groot bonus teen die prys.

Ons het vir twee dae in die woonstel gebly.

Die woonstel is goed toegerus met alles wat jy nodig kan hê en baie netjies. Die kinders het die grasperk geniet. Die bonus is dat dit loopafstand van die see is. Ek sal definitief weer kom, maar dan vir langer bly.

I couldn't recommend The Gull more highly. Brilliant location right on beach, friendly service, clean and safe. Being right next to Pili-Pili was a treat. We will be back.

Baie vriendelike eienaar, gasstofie vir beurtkrag wat baie gehelp het, wasmasjien was gerieflik, bietjie gesukkel om wasgoed droog te kry, 'n tuimeldroër sal aanwins wees. Die blyplek was modern, gemaklik ingerig, skoon, beddens uitstekend. Sal vir seker weer gaan, was net te kort daar. Baie dankie.

Absolute saligheid.

Wens ons kon langer bly. Perfek toegerus met alles wat jy benodig. Stil. Rus vir die siel.

The Gull is topgehalte as dit by selfsorg kom. Die gasvrou was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Die kothuis, waarin ons gebly het, was baie netjies, skoon en op loopafstand vanaf Myolistrand.

Daar is aan alles gedink en alles was baie mooi skoon en netjies. Ons het baie lekker gekuier en gerus. Dit is baie maklik om by die see te kom aangesien mens net van die erf by 'n hekkie kan uitgaan. Sedgefield is 'n pragtige plek en die strande is beeldskoon.

Weens omstandighede buite ons beheer kon ons net 1 aand bly. Het gereën, maar braai het ons gebraai! Lieflike plek. Baie netjies en skoon. Sal definitief weer daar gaan kuier!

Absoluut wonderlik.

Die verblyf is verskriklik skoon en netjies. Pragtig en rustig met 'n baie lekker kuierarea. Lieflik geleë naby strand en restaurant. Eienares is baie vriendelik en gasvry. Werklik 'n baie lekker plek om te rus. Werklik wonderlik en mooi.

We loved our stay at The Gull!

Upon arrival we received a warm welcome. We rented The Apartment, which was spacious with a well equipped kitchen and access to the beach. We had such a lovely stay and would gladly return to The Gull.

Excellent accommodation, very hospitable hosts, ideal location.

We loved the modern, upmarket apartment which was clean and neat. Very comfortable. Lots of attention to detail. Loved the fact that there is a restaurant next door to pop over for delicious meals. Access to the beach right on your doorstep is a real treat. The host family is extremely hospitable and friendly. Definitely on our list to return.

It was absolutely marvelous. I will do it again.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The beach is close by and the area is safe.

A great place from which to explore the Garden Route.

The Gull is right on the beach, and while it doesn't have a view of the sea, it has a path over the vegetated dune right onto what amounts to a private beach! The crashing of the waves can be heard and the place is beautifully done, with all the amenities one would want. Ruth is fantastic and her son Wayne runs tours so that you get a wonderful stay in the Garden Route.

To Ruth and Sylwen, what can I say? Thank you, thank you, thank you! What an awesome experience. From our arrival to our departure was one pleasant experience. The cottage is modern and clean, and it was serviced on a daily basis. The cottage could just as well be an area of your own living area. Amenities, such as a washing machine is in the cottage. When my wife needed medical assistance, you were there to assist, and took genuine care and interest in her well being. As we were leaving early in the morning, you took the time to greet us the previous afternoon. That speaks of how you embrace and engage. We felt being part of your family, and not being a visitor to your property. Thank you, thank you and thank you again.

Absoluut perfek.

Afgesien van die feit dat daar nie 'n wasmasjien of skottelgoedwasser is nie, en dit langer kuiers met klein kinders moeilik kan maak, kan ek regtig niks fout vind met The Gull nie. Stunning decor, perfekte ligging, baie vriendelike gasvrou! Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

A really pleasant place.

Awesome location and the friendliest host. Ruth made us feel so welcome and the cottage is picturesque. It also does help that it is right on the beach. Surrounded by a bunch of very nice restaurants as well. A real gem among seaside venues. I will definitely be returning.

The Gull is the place to stay when visiting the Western Cape. Very comfortable cottage. Great location, in every direction there is something exciting to do. The beach is nice and it is also very clean.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Gull.

We stayed in the Cottage located on the street side of the property. Very neat, clean and well-equipped cottage. Everything you need is available. The beach is approximately 150 m away and can be accessed by walking around the house. Ruth and Selwyn are very friendly, helpful and we felt at home immediately. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was awesome!

We will definitely go back to The Gull for future vacations! Best and friendly service, very clean, awesome location with the beach just a few meters away from you. We even got to see whales. Loved every moment!
