Due to a Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak affecting South Africa, additional biosecurity measures are in place to ensure the health of the animals on our reserve. Upon arrival, all guests are required to have their vehicle tyres sprayed with a non-corrosive disinfectant and walk over a disinfectant mat. Your cooperation helps protect the reserve's wildlife.

Arrival & Check-in Procedures
Identification: All guests must provide valid proof of identification (ID, driver’s license, or passport) at check-in. Access to the resort will be denied without it.

Documentation: Guests must produce a hardcopy or digital confirmation letter at check-in. The resort reserves the right to allocate a different unit of the same size to the one indicated on the letter.

Indemnity Form: Signing an indemnity form is standard practice. Only a person over 18 years old may sign the Guest Registration Card. This indemnifier must remain in occupation for the entire duration of the stay; if they vacate the unit, the remaining occupants may be asked to leave.

Group Bookings (More than 12 Guests): The resort imposes group limits, special check-in procedures, and requires additional deposits and indemnities. If your group or multi-party booking exceeds 12 guests, please contact the resort directly as soon as possible after confirmation.

Unit Layout: The resort cannot guarantee that multiple villas, suites, or chalets booked under the same reservation will be located close to one another.

Braai/Barbecue Policy: Portable barbecues are not permitted on the premises. The use of braais is strictly restricted to accommodation where the facility is built-in and provided at the unit itself.

Payments, Capacity & Damages
Cashless Resort: Please note that all facilities on the property are completely cashless. Only card payments are accepted.

Booking Payment: Full payment will be automatically processed within 48 hours after a booking has been made.

Maximum Capacity: If management determines that a unit exceeds its maximum designated guest capacity, occupants may be asked to vacate the unit and a penalty fee may be charged.

Damages Liability: Any damage to the resort property, the units, or their contents is the full financial liability of the guest in occupation. Costs may exceed the breakage deposit paid at check-in, depending on the extent of the damages incurred.

Important Notice: Refurbishments & Maintenance
Construction & Improvement Phases: The property management apologises in advance for any inconvenience caused by maintenance or improvement activities during your stay, though every effort will be made to keep disturbances to a minimum.

Refurbishment Dates: Selected units will undergo refurbishments during the following periods, during which noise levels may fluctuate:

22-05-2026 to 11-12-2026

12-02-2027 to 12-03-2027

07-05-2027 to 04-06-2027

13-08-2027 to 03-12-2027

Amenities & Facilities: Details of all resort amenities and facilities are correct at the time of booking but may change depending on maintenance schedules. Specific amenities and facilities may be subject to a fee.

Biosecurity Measures
Due to a Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak affecting South Africa, additional biosecurity measures are in place to ensure the health of the animals on our reserve. Upon arrival, all guests are required to have their vehicle tyres sprayed with a non-corrosive disinfectant and walk over a disinfectant mat. Your cooperation helps protect the reserve's wildlife.

Arrival & Check-in Procedures
Identification: All guests must provide valid proof of identification (ID, driver’s license, or passport) at check-in. Access to the resort will be denied without it.

Documentation: Guests must produce a hardcopy or digital confirmation letter at check-in. The resort reserves the right to allocate a different unit of the same size to the one indicated on the letter.

Indemnity Form: Signing an indemnity form is standard practice. Only a person over 18 years old may sign the Guest Registration Card. This indemnifier must remain in occupation for the entire duration of the stay; if they vacate the unit, the remaining occupants may be asked to leave.

Group Bookings (More than 12 Guests): The resort imposes group limits, special check-in procedures, and requires additional deposits and indemnities. If your group or multi-party booking exceeds 12 guests, please contact the resort directly as soon as possible after confirmation.

Unit Layout: The resort cannot guarantee that multiple villas, suites, or chalets booked under the same reservation will be located close to one another.

Cots: Baby cots are available upon request and are subject to availability.

Resort House Rules
Quiet Hours: No noise or disturbances are permitted at any time, and the playing of loud music is strictly unacceptable. A strict quiet period is enforced after 22:00. Failure to adhere to this will result in a request to vacate your unit and the resort premises immediately.

Smoking: By law, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the units, on patios, or in any other buildings on the resort premises. Violators will be liable to pay a fine at Management's discretion.

Pets: Pets are not allowed at the resort, with the exception of certified support animals. Violations may lead to a penalty fee and a request to remove the pet from the premises.

Braai/Barbecue Policy: Portable barbecues are not permitted on the premises. The use of braais is strictly restricted to accommodation where the facility is built-in and provided at the unit itself.

Payments, Capacity & Damages
Cashless Resort: Please note that all facilities on the property are completely cashless. Only card payments are accepted.

Booking Payment: Full payment will be automatically processed within 48 hours after a booking has been made.

Maximum Capacity: If management determines that a unit exceeds its maximum designated guest capacity, occupants may be asked to vacate the unit and a penalty fee may be charged.

Damages Liability: Any damage to the resort property, the units, or their contents is the full financial liability of the guest in occupation. Costs may exceed the breakage deposit paid at check-in, depending on the extent of the damages incurred.
