Welcome to The Knoll Historic Guest Farm, a charming and cozy retreat nestled in the heart of Hilton, in the beautiful Natal Midlands. Since 1850, The Knoll has been a place of warm hospitality, evolving from a farm to a hunting lodge, hotel, school, country estate, and beloved family home.
Our guest accommodation is designed to provide a comfortable, farm-style stay, complete with in-room amenities such as tea- and coffee-making facilities and en-suite bathrooms.
During your stay, we invite you to enjoy our live music events—every second Wednesday of the month and every Friday from 16:30, where you can relax with a sundowner and savor delicious sourdough and gluten-free pizzas (weather permitting). The farm's serene forest is perfect for bird watching, and you can explore our 5km marked trail, ideal for mountain biking, running, or leisurely walks.
