The Lookout is a 4-star Guest House and is rated by visitors as excellent accommodation and one of the best value for money establishments in Port AlfredPlease note we have 1 parking per apartment. In the event there are two cars, you must understand it will be a tight squeeze. Cannot accomodate large trailers.
The 6 apartments are all spacious, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated and are eminently suitable for both Bed & Breakfast or self-catering options, and together with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean, the Kowie River and the Royal Alfred Marina, make it the only place to stay in Port Alfred. The scrumptious breakfast is served in the guest’s own apartment at a time of choice between 7:30 AM and 9:00 am.
The Lookout is owner-managed, and the hosts, Rod & Angela, will ensure that all your needs and comforts are met. There are two outdoor swimming pools available for the guests, and barbecue facilities are available in the garden.
The Lookout is very close to the town and all amenities, and there are many good restaurants in the vicinity. Port Alfred has two modern shopping malls and a very good new hospital. Apart from the renowned Royal Port Alfred Golf Club, there are two bowling clubs, a tennis club and a number of other first-class sporting facilities. The beautiful, pristine beaches are just minutes away, whilst the Kowie River is a real mecca for boating enthusiasts. The Addo Elephant Park and other renowned Game Reserves are all close by and are malaria-free.
