House Rules
No smoking is allowed whatsoever. This includes all areas of the building, including:
Common areas (such as corridors, stairwells, and exclusive use areas).
Balconies and parking areas.
Smoking of any kind, including marijuana and cigarettes, is strictly prohibited. This policy is in place to preserve the integrity of our building, ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all residents, and mitigate significant fire risks.
Any tenant or guest who violates the no-smoking policy will be subject to immediate eviction. This is non-negotiable and applies equally to all tenants, including short-term rental guests.
All short-term tenants (e.g., Airbnb guests) must sign an acknowledgment form before occupancy. This form explicitly outlines the no-smoking policy and the consequences of non-compliance. Owners and agents are responsible for ensuring that their tenants complete this process.
The smoking of marijuana and cigarettes poses a severe fire hazard.
We have experienced multiple incidents where cigarettes flicked over balconies have ignited lower levels, causing damage and posing unacceptable risks to residents' safety.
Please note that such incidents may not be covered by our building insurance.
