ThelJean Cottage is a charming self-catering retreat set in the scenic Drakensberg Gardens area. The property offers breathtaking views of Garden Castle and Rhino Horn, surrounded by majestic mountains and clear rivers. This stone-faced cottage is ideal for a romantic escape or a family retreat and is pet-friendly.

The cottage can accommodate up to 12 guests across 3 beautifully furnished bedrooms. Two bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, while a spacious 6-sleeper bunk room provides additional sleeping arrangements. A total of 3 bathrooms are available to ensure convenience for all guests. The main bedroom, situated upstairs, offers incredible views of Garden Castle from the comfort of the bed and includes a private balcony overlooking the garden and mountain landscape. A fourth bedroom is available with a double bed, and children can be accommodated on a bunk bed if required.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, and microwave. The living area comprises a dining space and a spacious lounge with comfortable seating and a large fireplace, perfect for cosy winter evenings.

Guests can enjoy a range of seasonal activities. In winter, the fireplace and bar area provide warmth while views of snow-covered mountains or eland grazing in the garden can be admired. In summer, nearby mountain pools offer a refreshing escape, and activities such as hiking, horseback riding, golf, trout fishing, tubing, and mountain biking can be enjoyed.
