Description

Ideally suited for 8 guests, this off-the-grid, solar-powered, rustic thatched-roof chalet comprises 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Each bedroom is comfortably furnished with 2 single beds. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided. The chalet features a kitchenette equipped with a gas stove and oven, cutlery, crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a gas freezer. The lounge offers comfortable seating as well as 2 single beds. There is a lovely dining area where guests can enjoy meals. Outside, guests can relax around the boma. Built on a dune, the chalet offers stunning, uninterrupted views of the Kalahari landscape. The interior and exterior walls are constructed with sandbags filled on site with a mixture of sand and cement, helping to retain warmth in winter and keep the space cool in summer.

House Rules

Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation. Guests are required to enquire from the property about the condition of the gravel road before booking.
No smoking of any kind is allowed indoors, including vapes and cigarettes.
No parties are allowed on the premises.
Loud music and noise are prohibited.
No extra guests without prior arrangement. Guests who bring unregistered visitors will be charged a R650 fee.
Any damage to or misplacement of property will be charged to the guest. Guests will be billed the full replacement cost based on the price of the item at the time of damage.
